Howdy! I'm an independent organizational leadership consultant with 20 years of direct leadership and management experience with extensive knowledge in leadership development, organizational leadership and management. As a retired U.S. Army Officer, I come from an organization that puts a premium on leader development. I have a proven record of success leading people, organizations, and programs. I am a certified Birkman Method consultant, hold an MBA from Mississippi State University, I'm a graduate of the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College, and BS Environmental Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. I hold a Professional Engineer's license (TX), and a Project Management Professional certification.
My Approach
Leadership is the act of providing motivation, direction, and guidance to unite people and organizations to achieve goals or objectives. People will not follow without trust. My values-based approach focuses on components necessary to build trust within teams and organizations. It starts with self-understanding and regulation, understanding and motivating your people, casting clear guidance and direction, then taking care of your folks along the way.

I have over 20 years of direct leadership and management experience. I'm an astute observer of people and organizational dynamics. I partner with several consultant firms that have decades of experience in private industry. I excel in understanding the big picture and bringing it down to day-to-day functions. While I've had my share of successes, I've also had my share of failures. We learn from both.
